Our History

In the fall of 2003 John and Bill Crowley were reviewing the trucking industry. John an accomplished business professional with many years of structuring and building companies from within, restructuring and providing the leadership to bring these companies to new levels of success, and Bill an executive with a large trucking company seeing the short comings of the industry, put their two business minds together. Bill knew the company he was with was on the brink of experiencing a shortfall of about 20% in the driver work force. New log book regulations were about to take place and this would add to the shortfall.

Together they set out to see what was available to the trucking industry that would help combat the imminent need about to unfold. There were not any quality temp agency/driver leasing companies dedicated soley to the transportation industry. An agency that understood the importance of safety and industry knowledge that would take the time to listen to the needs of the customer, and the many diverse driver applications. John knew how to put a business model together and Bill knew the trucking industry, with a dedication to a "customer-first" philosophy the two of them went to work.

Bill researched the trucking industry to see what types of drivers would be needed, who would suffer shortfalls and put together a safety program that would be instituted for drivers that would join the fast-paced growing company.

Armed with the support of each other the two pioneers have built a strong Driver Leasing, Temp-to-Hire Staffing Company. Today the CTS team is proud to disclose the fact over 200 companies have come to rely on them daily. With the attitude every customer is their most important. CTS will not sacrifice the reputation of its customers served by taking short-cuts or staffing un-qualified drivers. Each driver must have at least 1 year verifiable driving experience, a clean background, good driving record, and most of all customer-first attitude.
